Benjamin Harrison died in his Indianapolis, Indiana, home at 4:45 p.m. on March 13, 1901, with his second wife, Mary, and other family members at his side. His funeral was held at the First Presbyterian Church on March 17, and he was buried next to his first wife, Caroline, in Crown Hill Cemetery. His second wife, Mary, was also buried with him after her death.
