SKC, Inc. offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package that currently includes the following:
Choice of either a HMO, PPO, or POS medical plan. Prescription coverage is included. This benefit is 90% company paid.
A PPO dental plan that includes orthodontic coverage. This benefit is company paid for employees and their dependents.
A traditional vision plan is offered. This benefit is company paid for employees and dependents.
Basic Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
Basic life insurance is provided at two times the employee’s annual salary. This benefit and the AD&D benefit is paid for by the company.
Optional Life Insurance and Dependent Life Insurance
The cost is based on the amount selected and the person(s) covered. This benefit is employee paid.
Short Term Disability
The plan covers 60% of the employee’s weekly salary. This benefit is company paid.
Long Term Disability
This plan covers 60% if qualified for LTD of the employee’s weekly salary. This benefit is company paid (if qualified for LTD).
Long Term Disability Buy-Up
This plan covers an additional 10% if qualified for LTD over the company funded plan thus giving the employee a total of 70% of the employee’s weekly salary. This benefit is employee paid (if qualified for LTD).
Retirement Plan – 401K Plan
The company will provide a 50% match of contributions up to the first 6% contributed by the employee. Employees are 100% invested in retirement after three years of employment. The company increases its match to 75% of contributions up to the first 6% contributed by the employee beginning at the seventh year of employment. The company also contributes 1% to 2% of quarterly earnings based on seniority for all 401K participants.
Flexible Spending Account / Dependent Flexible Spending Account
The company offers an optional Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and optional Dependent Flexible Spending Account (DFSA). Each employee may put a total of $2500 per year into their FSA and $5000 per year into their DFSA. The funds in the FSA can only be used for covered health care costs as applicable by law. The funds in the DFSA can only be used for dependent care coverage as applicable by law. These benefits are employee paid.
Employee Assistance Plan
The company provides an employee assistance plan (EAP) this is available to all employees. This benefit is company paid.
Holidays and Vacation
SKC observes 11 designated days throughout the year as company paid holidays. All full time employees earn vacation time according to their tenure with the company.
