| Albania in 1957 For the first time since World War II Albania admitted a small group of visitors from non-Communist countries during 1957. One of the first photographs to be taken by a
western newspaperman since 1946 showed Albanians at a
cigarette kiosk in Scutari. It was taken by Harrison E.
