New York City Newspaper Strike of 1958

A strike by the Newspaper and Mail Delivers Union shut down every daily newspaper in New York City, New York, from December 12 to December 28, 1958.

Out-of-town newspapers were in unusually high demand in December when New Yorkers were deprived of their dailies during the strike.
